surface preparation : remove any oil or grease using a chemical cleaner. Spot blast all rusted and abraded areas to spcc surface preparation 6 commercial standard. Sandsweep all remaining areas only enough to obtain an anchor pattern suitable for top coating. Blow all areas with high pressure air to remove all sand, dust etc. No blasted surface shall stand overnight without specified coating. Maximum area to be spot blasted shall not exceed ( twenty ) 20 percent of total surface area of compartment. Compartments : superstructure area

The vendor shall provide all labor, equipment, testing, materials as specified herein and incidentals necessary to complete the work unless otherwise specified.
The department of transportation ( txdot ) director of purchasing has determined that subcontracting opportunities are probable in connection with this solicitation. Accordingly, a hub subcontracting plan is a required part of the bid, proposal, offer, or other applicable expression of interest. Failure to submit the hub subcontracting plan shall deem the bid non-responsive and will disqualify the bid from further consideration. If the selected contractor / vendor decides to subcontract any part of the contract after award, as provision of the contract, the contractor / vendor must comply with provisions of the tac section 111.14 prior to any modifications or performance in the awarded contract involving subcontracting as authorized by txdot. If the contractor / vendor subcontracts any of the work without prior authorization and without complying with our contract specifications or our subcontracting plan the contractor / vendor has breached the contract and is subject to remedial actions per our government code and tac section 111.14. Subcontracting : if all or any portion of the purchase order will be subcontracted, bidders shall refer to the hub-subcontracting plan for established requirements. Subcontractors providing service under the purchase order shall meet the same requirements and provide the same service level as required from the primary vendor. Vendors who plan to subcontract a portion of this purchase order shall identify their proposed subcontractors by completing and returning the hub-subcontracting plan with their bid submission. We has the right to check the subcontractors' background and make a determination on either approving or rejecting the use of a proposed subcontractor. Any negative responses may result in the disqualification of the subcontractor no subcontract under the purchase order shall relieve the primary vendor of its responsibility to oversee the work performed under this purchase order by its subcontractors. The primary vendor shall be held liable for all work performed by its subcontractors and shall be responsible for all charges and expenses incurred by its subcontractors.
