Professional IT Services

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services intend to award multiple Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity ( IDIQ ) contracts for professional Information Technology ( IT ) services. The contracts will be available for use by customers throughout CMS to provide streamlined, efficient procurement vehicles to acquire professional IT services, which are tailored in individual task orders. CMS anticipates that the contracts will have a base year and four one-year option periods. The RFP will include the FAR clauses that pertain to inclusion of options. The base contract will allow for all types of pricing mechanisms based upon each individual task order. This procurement will include one task set that will be a 100% small business set-aside and another task set that will be a full and open, unrestricted competition. In accordance with FAR 19.102, the NAICS codes that apply to each task set are : Task Bundle A (100% Set Aside for Small Business ) - Custom Software Development ( NAICS 541511 / $18. 0M ); Task Bundle B ( Unrestricted ) - Computer Systems Design and Development Services ( NAICS 541512 / $18.0 M ). An electronic copy of the solicitation will be available on FEDBIZOPPS. All responsible sources may submit a proposal to the RFP to be issued for these services. See Numbered Note 2. Hard copies of the solicitation will only be made available upon request to those vendors who do not have Internet access, or for some other reason cannot download the RFP.
