The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration ( DEA ), has a requirement for maximum security at its Miami Florida facilities to ensure protection of extremely high value assets. Accordingly, there is a requirmeent for highly qualified, highly skilled, armed protection / security officers to provide a constant deterrent and reactionary force against unaturhoized and illegal activities at the Miami Warehouse and the Southeast Laboratory.
The contractor shall provide security guards who are state sworn and have legal authority in the State of Florida, for the purpose of protection of property seized by the U.S. Government, to investigate suspicious persons and vehicles in the vicinity of the warehouse / laboratory as well as anywhere within the State of Florida. The personnel shall have authority to pursue those suspicious persons or other who may flee after an assault or attempt to burglarize the premises. This solicitation will require seven days a week, twenty fours hours per day. This requirement is set-aside for small business participation only.
