New technology ( based on desorption & oxidation ) for the remediation of tbs. Flameless, at temperatures of below 680 degc (no toxic emissions!) and chemically inert / sterile product; leaves potable water.
Operating costs lower than for; plant is totally self-contained, mobile and can "go to the problem". Works to api refinery standard!
The picture gives the proof of the pudding : mk-9 operating in tanjung priok ( oil harbour of jakarta, indonesia in 1995 ). All that is left of the "cake" from TBS is sterile solids (to be drawn from bottom of cyclones ) and co2-enriched air / water vapour!
