Product Characteristics
The product is elastic coating; it uses the compound liquid such as the acrylic acid colophony and the cement as the original source, and adds the additional solvent to the product. It is usable in humid or dry foundations of many building materials to form a large area of waterproof membrane.
The coating is solid and has good adhesive effect; it has a fine function of waterproofing, weather resistance, and endurance. The service life is fifteen years. It can solidly adhere to with the grouting mortar; it also can be added to the pigment to form a colored coating layer. It integrates the waterproof and adhesive functions; the waterproof layer can be directly adhered to the protective layer, such as tile and mosaic.
The product does not contain any organic solvent; it is environmentally friendly with no poison, no harm and no pollution; it also has the advantage of easy use and short construction period. The extension rate of mode JS-1 coating is higher than the model JS-II coating; it can be directly used in a humid and dry foundation. It is suitable to waterproof the roof, and especially for the older housing maintenance.
Mode JS-II coating is suitable for the toilet and the swimming pool.
Construction Standard
Foundation processing : the waterproof foundation should be level, solid, clean, without leakage or water; we should flatten the uneven places and fill the cracks with grouting mortar. The product is suitable for all kinds of waterproof engineering and designed thickness. The construction is three to five times, and the original cloth can be added if necessary.
The reference usage amount : the deep membrane thickness1. 2mm, usage 2. 7kg/m2. When blending, we should correctly measure according to the standard proportion ( weight proportion ). We can add a little water and evenly blend the coating with an electric blender.
The water collection test should begin 48 hours after the membrane construction.
Items for Attention
We should not work in the rain, high-humidity and airless or below zero centigrade, so as not to influence the forming of the membrane.
When the temperature is 20 centigrade, after blending the liquid and powder material, the usable time of the coating is three hours. If the temperature is lower, the usable time is longer, and if the temperature is higher, the usable time is shorter. When the mixture is solid, it is unusable. If the coating ( especially the base coating ) has a deposit; it should be evenly blended in time.
The coating's original color is off-white, it can be made into a color coating layer by adding five to ten percent weight color material. The color material should be a medium inorganic material.
We suggest the ferric oxide system materials, if you choose another material; you should test them and make sure they are suitable.
After the previous layer is solid, dry and not sticky, we can start to work on the next layer. If it is used in the low temperature, high humidity and bad airiness conditions, the drying time is longer, and vice verso. After the waterproof construction, we should carefully check every part of the engineering, especially the weak parts; if there are problems, we should immediately repair them. The coating layer should have no cracks, no warp edge, no bubbling and no separation of layers. The used tools and vessels should be washed in time.
