Heavy bodied, high-pigmented material for filling and coloring pores and cracks on wood. It is water-borne.
Filling and leveling in open-pored wood is achieved through the use of paste FILLERS or repairing defects in wood. They contribute to the build and texture and help color the wood. Demands placed on FILLER are contradictory and difficult to satisfy. It must penetrate and not pull away from the defect, but must scrape clean. It must be slow enough setting to facilitate working, yet dry reasonably fast. When dry, it must be solvent insoluble. Finally, it must be highly pigmented to produce the proper filling, but should also accept stains.
The difficulties in satisfying these demands can be readily seen. All fillers are a collection of compromises, through careful formulation and top-quality ingredients, has suceeded in producing optimim performance in 64-7600 Line. Fillers are easily applied, resist shrinkage, and dry quickly. Available in custom colors, they offer excellent filling and coloration. In addition to the standard 64 Line, modifications are available. These have all the features of the standard fillers but are modified to suit individual production lines.
Generally, FILLERS are reduced before application. Not so with the 64-7600 line. It is to be applied directly as is.64-7600 has been formulated to resist sagging and decrease production time and rejects.64-7600 should not be reduced since resistance to shrinkage is an important factor.
Being water-borne, the usual problems associated with this type of material have been eliminated. It is an environmentally responsible product. Tools and work areas can be cleaned with water.
