Mode of action
Nicotine soleplate acts upon the central nervous system of the insect. It has both contact as well as fumigation action.
It's uses : nicotine soleplate 40% is used to kill Aphids, Trips, Bugs, Worms, Leaf-hoppers and similar sucking insects which attack and destroy fruit, vegetables, crops and even flowers. It is also effective against lice. Mite and Ticks, which are a menace to live stock
Advantages of its usage
* While synthetic pesticides have toxic ruminants on fruits and vegetable, which are harmful. Nicotine Soleplate being washable in water does not have any toxic ruminants after usage; hence it is an extremely safe pesticide.
* Nicotine Soleplate being an insecticide of plant origin does not pollute the environment like other chemical insecticides.
* No immunity has ever been developed by any pest against this product during its ninety year continuous use all over the world.
Recommendations
Nicotine soleplate is mixable in all proportion in water at all temperatures. For effective control, 400 ml of Nicotine Soleplate should be mixed in 400ltrs of water. This spray solution under normal conditions is sufficient to treat 2-3 hectares or 30-40 trees.

Depending on pest incidence and size of crop, concentration of spray solution can be increased. For improving sticking and spreading properties, spray solution can be mixed with soap ( for one part Nicotine-Soleplate- five parts of soap ). To increase adhesiveness and penetration, 200zs Herbs red oil or 14 lbs of soap can be mixed in 25 ltrs of spray solution.
