Our current projects involve the filming of two independent, morally responsible, feature movies with already set marketing niches. With the advancement of DVD movies, both investments are certain to profit quite well--even if we do not acquire theatrical distribution! Consider the following for this rewarding venture :
1 ) both movies are slated to be filmed in new england--one of them could very well be filmed in another state or nation

Opportunity and investment considerations :
Current worldwide box office totals are more than $40 billion, with the united states accounting for over 30 percent, or $12 billion, of that amount. Additionally, over 70% of the population rents or ventures to movies regularly, thus accounting for over 1.5 billion movie attendances each year in the u. S. Within this framework, the independent and mini--major film companies are alive and healthy--accounting for over 5% of the total marketplace. This industry segment is currently going through a growth spurt, which we expect will continue.
Drama films account for 31% of the total amount of movies made. Hence, over $12 billion of the total gross of all movies is awarded to those theatrical releases with dramatic themes. Smaller budget dramas( such as our products ) that are released on fewer than 600 movie screens per week accumulate an estimated $1.2 billion or 3.15% of the total box office gross.
Market penetration strategy :
Although our films will be marketed to the general, worldwide audience ( with a probable motion picture rating of pg13 or pg ), new breed plans to exploit one of the largest entertainment starved markets available--the religious industry. Marketing family- and faith- based films to the entertainment-starved Christians is one of the largest untapped niches in filmmaking. There's an unsatisfied, primarily Christian market out there, says michael dunn, executive vice president of twentieth century fox home entertainment. If you can marry the right product to that marketplace, everyone's going to benefit.
The religious market is a $40 billion industry which new breed has kept its sights on since the mid-90s. Direct distribution and licensing agreements by way of DVD sales is one of the company's most trustworthy secret marketing weapon!
