The Northrock Fish Scaler is designed for heavy duty continuous use for scaling of all types of scaled fish species such as perch, pike, tilapia, grouper, snapper, white fish, etc.. The Northrock Unit is powered with a 1/3 HP motor with on / off switch mounted directly on to the motor, which also serves as hanger for the hand-piece. When the hand-piece is in storage position, the switch is down and off. When hanger is in up position unit is on. Diamond pattern cutter comes standard with 5/16" diameter 4' long flexible cable.
