1. Impregnating Pitch
1.1 Uses and Characteristics
The Impregnating Pitch is made from coal tar oil, it is a specialized impregnating material to produce high power graphite electrode, ultra-high power graphite and highly pure graphite. With its lower content of Quinoline Insoluble, it is very easy to permeate into the core of graphite electrode and other kinds of graphite products, especially large size ones, this can not only increase the compact and mechanical strength, but also reduce gas hole rate and resistance rate of electrode. Even after times of impregnating, the content of Quinoline Insoluble in this pitch still remains low.

2. Binder Pitch
2.1 Uses and Characteristics
The binder pitch is made from coal tar oil, it is a material to produce graphite-electrode, positive electrode paste, etc., with its highly ability of binding and agglomerating value, this can not only increase compact, but also reduce gas hole rate and resistance rate of graphite electrode, positive electrode paste, etc..
2.2 specification
2.2.1 soften point 90---120 C 2.2.2 quinoline insoluble 9---15%
2.2.3 agglomerating value >55%
2.2.4 toluene insoluble >30% 2.2.5 moisture <3.0%
3 Output
This plant can produce Impregnating Pitch for 15000 tons a year, and produce Binder Pitch for 10000 tons a year.
