Crustacean Aquaculture in cages
Following successful commercial evaluation in Moshav Ein Yahav The Green Solution

has begun marketing caged systems for intensive Aquaculture of Cannibal

animals, aimed at avoiding the environmental limits and problems associated with extensive

farming.

The systems are especially suited for breeding lobsters, Langoustine, Crayfish, shrimps

and crabs. Crustaceans can be grown singly, eliminating losses from cannibalism. The

stable and controlled microenvironment and optimal water condition provide an all

year-round supply, premium color, and repeatable target weight ( and hence maximum price ).

Feeding is performed automatically, two or three times daily.

An array of rotating cages creates a circular contour, providing complete visibility of

the animals, clear the cage of litter by means of air bubbles, an exact feeding dose for

every individual animal. These characters provide excellent water quality and high (96%)

survivability within a controlled budget.
